Have you always been a hiker? I was a runner until the day I retired from the US Army. However, I do interval training to prepare for my hikes and long canoe trips.
What motivates you to train and compete harder? I’m looking for any advantage to maximize my endurance levels. A 20 mile day on the AT with a 30lb pack on your back will test your will and make you question why do I do this. You constantly fight muscle soreness and fatigue. I look for anything that can elevate my endurance levels.
Any tips on nutrition that you try and follow? Paleo diet. I avoid anything white, and anything processed.

I shared some of my shots with one of the guys in my group, and he had the same results, minimal soreness. When making 1200ft accents at 5400 ft. you have to really breath hard to keep your heart rate in check, I just felt like my air exchange was better as well.
Anything additional you would like to add about Beet It Sport Shots? I absolutely will not go on the AT without the Beet-it shots. They are a part of training and preparation for these grueling hikes. I have not tried the bars yet, I think those would be a great mid-day snack and supplement the shots I do daily.
